Tour of East Lothian Audax 2015

This popular early season Audax returns after an absence last year. Same excellent route on an anti clockwise circuit starting from outside our clubrooms on Sunday 22 February 2015. First group are off at 10am with check points at the top of the ‘Rigg’, in Dunbar and in Haddington. 65 miles of fine East Lothian countryside to test the 230+ riders that have entered. ESCA 10 TT Champs – promoted by Peebles CC 09/05/12

Peebles CC are promoting the ESCA 10 championship on the Stobo course.  It’s a Wednesday evening event 7pm start on a decent course – well worth entering.  Details are on entry central but not on the SC website yet.

British Eagle road race – Saturday 28/04/12

The club is promoting the annual British Eagle Trophy road race on Saturday 28th April with the field already oversubscribed and extended to 80 riders.  Race starts at 11am and event HQ/strip is at East Saltoun hall.  Even if you don’t have an entry, well worth riding out to spectate.

Humbie Hilly TT Sunday 22/04/12

10 am start for this hilly TT around some cracking roads in East Lothian.  Event HQ/Strip is at East Saltoun Hall.  2 x 11.5 mile laps. Entries available and contact details on the following link.

Midweek Club 10 TTs

Our regular 10 mile TTs start off again for 2011 on Wednesday 4th May.   Start is in the layby just off the Wallyford – Longniddry road, a 1 minute cycle from the Wallyford roundabout in the direction of Prestonpans.  Route then is to Longniddry roundabout at the train station then retrace to finish just past where you started from. Club Rides and other training events 2012

This is where we will post up the training sessions, both inside and outdoors, that the club’s riders will be taking part in the 2012season. Currently (2011 into ’12) the turbo sessions have started – once a week, Tuesday 6:30pm. Also we hope to run a social / cafe-type ride, 4o miles or so, once per month where the race is NOT to be the fastest but to choose the best cake at the cafe which we will be stopping at.
